I’ve been lucky enough to work with some incredible food brands over the last 2 years. From sauces and spices to full on product launches, these partnerships have not only helped support my work but also pushed me creatively in ways I never expected. I literally cooked the Duolingo bird lol. But when they go well, it’s a win for everyone. The brand gets content that feels real, the audience gets something they actually want to watch (and maybe try for themselves), and I get to bring a good idea to life among other benefits.

But a smooth partnership doesn’t happen by accident. It’s the result of clear expectations, mutual respect, and knowing how to navigate the process on both sides. After working with over a dozen food companies and growing my audience to over 7 million across platforms, I’ve started to notice the same five things show up in every successful deal.

Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve got brand emails flooding your inbox, here’s what I think every creator should keep in mind.
