Hi, I’m Lazy Pot Noodle.

I started out experimenting with food in a small dorm room junior year at my university (not culinary school lol). In 2023, I launched @LazyPotNoodle on TikTok — a page dedicated to showing how to make low-effort meals using limited appliances. Over 5 Billion views and 7 million total followers later, it turned into something a lot bigger than I could’ve imagined.

I like to show that good food isn’t about having the best kitchen or fancy gadgets — it’s about knowing how to use what you’ve got. I like to measure with my heart (within reason) and I still film in the same kind of setup, I’m just not in college anymore.

This blog is where I get into the details my other socials don’t have time for. Here’s what you’ll find:

Detailed recipes

TikTok and other platforms gives you around 60 seconds. Here, I slow down and actually show you how I cook — step-by-step recipes, exact ingredients, substitutions, shortcuts, techniques, flavor profiles, and why certain things work the way they do. Whether it’s a 3-ingredient ramen upgrade or a slow-braised short rib meal that looks like it came out of a restaurant, I’ll explain everything I’ve learned making it.

Behind the Scenes

Expect real behind-the-scenes updates — grocery store finds, random things I’ve been testing, restaurant meals that sparked a new idea, ingredients I’m obsessed with right now. It’s like a moodboard kitchen diary. If it’s influencing the food I make, I’ll break it down here.

Community access

Subscribers get access to the Lazy Pot Subscriber Community Chat — a space for anyone who’s into food across the globe. Ask me questions, swap ideas, share your own food, drop underrated restaurant spots, talk ingredients or gear. It’s a lowkey place for people who like cooking and want a better place to talk about it than a comment section. You might find some hidden gems in there too.

Free subscribers get:

  • One post a week (could be a short recipe, a BTS look, trend updates)

Paid subscribers get:

  • Full weekly recipes — Extended cuts on how I film, prep, and execute my cooking videos

  • Instant access to all past posts and the recipe archive (75+ recipes)

  • The Lazy Pot Subscriber Community Chat — Ask me questions, etc.

  • Bonus drops, shopping lists, food recs, random thoughts — whatever I feel like sharing

I hope to see you there :)
